Shutters on the Beach is a gem that redefines coastal luxury right in Santa Monica. The ocean view room we booked was a highlight; every morning, I was greeted by the thrilling sight of the Pacific through those beautiful sliding double doors—absolutely worth it! And I can’t recommend the Coast Beach Café enough; their grilled halibut absolutely stole the show during our meals. The warmth and professionalism of the staff made our romantic getaway even more special, ensuring we felt pampered with every interaction, from a friendly glass of wine upon arrival to the delightful personal touches throughout our stay. The hotel's beautiful architecture complemented the calming ocean blues, creating a perfect backtrack to our photo sessions. If you’re seeking a place that merges relaxation and stunning ocean access, Shutters is an easy choice—whether you’re flying back home or just soaking up the Californian lifestyle!
